Autonomous Cars
As an encore to Andy’s LUG award presentation of 2015, Andy Killorin, a seventh grader from Eden Prairie Central Middle School (and his assistant, Eric Schaffer, of Saint Bernard Engineering), will give a presentation on Autonomous Cars. In addition to an overview of autonomous cars and critique of a Tesla system, Andy will demonstrate an autonomous robot mimicking an autonomous car. He will be using an EV3 robot will ultrasonic sensing, programmed in LabVIEW with a module designed to run Lego Mindstorms. He will discuss his algorithms and the LabVIEW code he developed to run the robot.
