Dear LabVIEW Users,

We would like to invite you to the LabVIEW User Group meeting on 11 July .2019.

We would like to exchange and discuss knowledge and problems in LabVIEW with people from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. The border of a country should not be a border for knowledge transfer.
We are planning to establish meetings on a regular basis which we will discuss with you in our meeting. We hope you join and contribute to our user group.

We would like to announce the next Euregio User Group Meetings for 2019.

We suggest to organise the next meeting (11 July) again in Aachen in the NGP2 building of the Aachener Verfahrenstechnik.

Attend, present or organize a user group meeting and make use of the NI Recertification by Points Program. More info to be found here.

Agenda:
1) LabVIEW as a platform for rapid implementation of easy-to-use ground segment software solutions for space mission operations.
S. Tholl, B. Dachwald and the students of the FH Aachen Space Operations Facility (FHA//SOF) of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences

The operation of satellites is a challenge. A successful mission is highly dependent on its mission operations. While in most cases the optimization of the firmware on the space segment side is very limited, in some cases the optimization of the ground segment software to overcome these known firmware bugs is an option. Therefore, a rapid development approach to reconfigure or redesign the mission control software according to the current situation of the spacecraft in the shortest time is crucial. In this presentation, we show how we use LabVIEW to implement and redesign ground segment software by presenting real-world case studies in which LabVIEW led to successful and easy-to-use solutions for small spacecraft and rover mission operations.

2)  Discussion about the DQMH vs QMH program structure

We are looking forward to the meeting of the Euregio LabVIEW User Group in July!

Please book 17 October in your calendar!
We are open to organise the meeting in a different venue. Please contact us if your company is willing to welcome the Euregio User Group in October.

Please also join our online community here to start conversations about the meeting and other LabVIEW related topics and introduce yourself to the community here.
