Enhance your NI LabVIEW development skills and network with other LabVIEW users in your area.

Topic: Actors, Messaging, and Jokes
Presented by: Michael Klessens, Technical Staff HW, Intel Corporation and Ryan Griffin, Software Apps Engineer, Intel Corporation

This will be a light-hearted journey through the world of LabVIEW Actors and Messages. What is an Actor? How do Actors communicate with each other? What famous LabVIEW Actors should you be following (on Twitter or a named queue), and why?

We’ll discuss the pros and cons of popular Actor/Messaging frameworks (Actor Framework, DQMH, TBA), and introduce the framework we designed to balance the pros and cons for our particular team/application.

During this meeting, you:
  • Enhance your core LabVIEW skills
  • Discuss the latest LabVIEW technologies
  • Meet with peers and share questions, examples, and challenges
