Adsorption Breakthrough Applciation for Carbon Capture Study based on cDAQ and LabVIEW
Significant amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) is produced in many industrial processes, such as cement and steel production plants, as well as oil refineries. With the rapid pace of global warming, carbon capture plays a crucial role to draw CO2, which is a major driver of global warming, out of the Earth's atmosphere. Adsorption is a key method used in carbon capture by trapping CO2 molecules on the surface of solid materials. In this presentation, we will share our custom-designed setup used to investigate adsorption dynamics with high fidelity, especially under challenging high-temperature and humid conditions. Through the use of LabVIEW and CompactDAQ, we were able to reliably acquire from various sensors and control instruments easily from a single software platform, for experiments that span days. The entire system is also seamlessly automated to enable precise control, repeatability and streamlined data collection for advanced adsorption studies and scalable process design.
Speakers: Victor Leong, Nimble Focus Consulting

Flying Without Taking Off – Ensuring Drone Mission Success Through Ground-Based Simulation
This presentation focuses on the integration of GNSS simulation, RF channel emulation, and HIL frameworks to validate navigation and datalink systems. It highlights advanced, threat-representative ground-based testing methodologies that ensure mission reliability, resilience, and performance of autonomous aerial platforms without the need for live flight testing.
Speaker: Mondeep, Safran Data Systems India (Captronic)

Biomedical imaging solutions
By enabling systematic recordings of rapidly evolving behaviors of live cells and tissues in vivo, optical imaging methods have revolutionized the biomedical research, notably neuroscience, developmental biology and cancer research. Generally, high-resolution optical microscope involves a tightly focused spot and requires 3D scanning to form an image. How to control the laser scanning microscope to obtain the high-quality images and how to customize your experiments in response to various external events usually make researchers feel quite helpless. Therefore, we provided a professional module for controlling custom built or commercially laser scanning microscope, such as multiphoton microscopes, photoacoustic microscopes and confocal microscopes. Based on NI FPGA technologies, our module involves both hardware and software, which support raster imaging with many combinations of available scanners and devices. In addition, advanced optical imaging systems can be customized and provided by our engineers.
Speaker: Shiwei Ye, Shenzhen Boray Technology
