Automated Test Hands-on: From Setup to Advanced automation with PXI and the LabVIEW+ Suite
This hands-on will guide you through setting up a PXI platform and automating measurement using NI software including NI InstrumentStudioTM, NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand. The exercises guide you through instrument bring up, interactive measurement, code module development and automating a test sequence. You will also be exposed to code re-use across the different design stages, facilitating team collaboration and the ability to choose different programming languages for the automation tasks. 

Data Acquisition Hands-on: Acquire, Analyze, and Report Data with NI DAQ and the NI LabVIEW+ Suite
In this hands-on session, you will set up a DAQ system from start to finish: attach sensors, configure channels and log measurements in FlexLogger. You'll also learn to extend FlexLogger with plugins. Next, explore the benefits of using LabVIEW with your DAQ setup. Finally, leverage DIAdem's synchronization and visualization capabilities for offline analysis and reporting. Through practical exercises, you will gain exposure to the entire DAQ workflow: hardware configuration, logging, data analysis, reporting and automation. This session will enhance your skills with LabVIEW, FlexLogger, DAQ and DIAdem, empowering you to optimize your measurement solutions. 

Hardware-in-loop Hands-on: Building, configuring and deploying HIL setups for Embedded Software Validation
In this hands-on, you will learn about NI’s software and hardware offerings for building HIL simulators/systems including both the hardware and Software tools which will be used for building these HIL systems. We start with importing and configuring plant models to run-in Real-time environment, followed by an exercise on mapping hardware resources like to model execution. You will also be exposed to procedures critical for protecting system hardware and Device Under Test (DUT - ECU Test sample) with alarms and safety procedures. Lastly, we will explore how stimulating and logging responses from Device Under Test (DUT) with real time test sequences and stimulus profiles can be automated using NI VeriStand and NI TestStand.

Electromechical test applications with NI Hardware and software tools
Electromechanical machines are all around us. From the electrical machinery that makes work and life easier, to specialized assets such as electric turbines, these machines must safely endure harsh operational and nonoperational conditions. Engineers rely on data acquisition (DAQ) technology to find, understand, and fix electromechanical issues that could compromise the machine’s quality, predicting the future as best as they can. In this session, learn how to -
1. Catch quality issues. Get the right data the first time, even over higher channel counts and distributed systems, without compromising measurement quality.
2. Understand machine behavior. Scale channel-count and sensor mix to find correlation amongst synchronized data and discover operational boundaries.
3. Meet complexity needs. Validation your machine under basic or complex conditions, from out-of-the-box measurements to customized test plans.

Upgrading your HIL investments: Gaining the assurance of uninterrupted testing for SDV Programs
Automotive testing has grown from testing electromechanical components to software validation embedded into ECUs, and with the introduction of the SDV, this evolution has been accelerated further. HIL tests (and XiL test methods in general) become that much more critical in testing and validating functionality, reliability, and safety for vehicle domains and attributes. In this session, we will explosure novel architectures to increase utilization and re-use of HIL assets. The proposed architecture scales from Desktop micro-HILs to large pin count applications like Dynamica Labcars and Vehicle-in-loop simulators. We will also highlight how this architecture can be used to build HIL Farms for SDV Programs

Streamlining ECU Validation with NI Vehicle Communications (VCOM) Software Suite
NI VCOM streamlines ECU validation across diverse automotive bus systems, such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet, to support network testing, calibration, and diagnostics. This session will showcase a quick configuration for an interactive web-based workflow to set up the restbus simulation configuration and then seamlessly automate for complete testing.

This session explores the feasbility of bridging systems engineering and test workflows using MBSE concepts. Join us to discover how a holistic approach to digital engineering can revolutionize both the test landscape and its synergy with systems engineering.

Target Echo Simulators to validate Complex RADAR Algorithms
RADAR designers use RADAR Target Simulators to test algorithms like digital control of sensitivity timing, Dynamic Range/ doppler gating for clutter suppression, Monopulse angle tracking and tracking leading edge to suppress target ECM. Besides Signal and data processing, complex multi-function RADAR systems also include intelligent RADAR Resource Managers and Scheduling units playing an integral part in overall performance and usability. Testing such a RADAR system requires simulating target characteristics and operational scenarios that can evaluate the integrated functionality and seamless operation between various modes. This session presents some such advanced features and scenarios developed by Constelli over and above NI RTG Drivers.

Ritu Favre is president of the Test & Measurement business group at Emerson. With more than 30 years of experience in tech, including multiple semiconductor industries, Ritu brings a diverse outside-in perspective to NI. A seasoned high-tech industry leader, she’s served as chief executive officer at NEXT Biometrics and on the Cohu Board of Directors. She’s also held senior management positions with market heavyweights like Motorola, Freescale Semiconductor, and Synaptics. Ritu currently sits on the board of directors of Valmont Industries. Baskar Ceri has more than 2 decades of experience across various Industries (Aerospace, Defense, Research, Automotive, Railways, Software Services, etc.) playing various roles starting from Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Operations to General Management. Baskar started his career at NI in Austin, USA and was part of the 2-member team that started NI operations in India growing the team and the revenue to multi million dollars in India. After his initial corporate role, Baskar founded an Engineering Services Company to provide Deep-Tech Engineering Solutions to Indian Defense, Space & Automotive companies and later founded a Knowledge Engineering Products company, the first Indian company to build products & systems that improve Safety & Efficiency of Railway Assets. Baskar has also been involved in several acquisitions & divestments during his experience & currently serves on the board of several companies and has keen interest in mentoring & building world changing companies. Baskar holds an Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree from BITS-Pilani, India and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, USA.
