Abhishek Srivastava is a seasoned expert in communication systems with over two decades of experience. A graduate in Electronics & Communication from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur, and a postgraduate in Signal Processing from IIT Kanpur, he has been with DRDO since 2003.
He has contributed significantly to the development of cutting-edge communication technologies, including Combat Net Radio (CNR) and Manpack Radio for the Indian Army, as well as Shipborne SDR systems for the Indian Navy. Currently, he serves as the Project Director for the development of SDR for airborne applications for the Indian Navy.A member of the National SDR Testing Sub-Committee of the Standard Development Authority, Abhishek brings extensive expertise in hardware development, ECCM waveforms, and testing across ground, shipborne, and airborne platforms.

Devender Verma,Technology Director,SSPL

Mr. Devender Verma is a Scientist G and Technology Director at the Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL). He has also served as the Director of Project Monitoring in the Office of the Director General, overseeing Microelectronics Devices, Computational systems, and Cybersecurity from 2020 to 2023.

In 2020, Mr. Verma and his team of 33 were honored with the prestigious DRDO Agni Award for Excellence in Self-Reliance for their outstanding contributions to the design and development of a “Field Deployable Acoustic Emission Sensor System for Defence Applications.”With a wealth of experience in the characterization of materials, IR detectors, underwater sensors, acoustic sensors, and acoustic emission sensors, Mr. Verma has made significant strides in the field of data acquisition systems for extracting acoustic emission parameters. Mr. Verma’s career is marked not only by his technical achievements but also by numerous publications that reflect his deep knowledge and commitment to advancing defense technologies.

 

Mrunal Swaroop Peravali,Deputy Manager, Volvo Eicher

 

Mrunal Swaroop Peravali, an accomplished automotive and mechatronics engineer, is passionate about innovation. An alumnus of NIT Karnataka, he holds a master’s in Mechatronics Engineering and a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.As Deputy Manager for Verification & Validation at Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, he specializes in HIL test rigs, functionality, fatigue, and durability testing. His expertise spans HIL system development, IoT, PCB design, and robotics, enhancing rig-level testing performance.
Beyond his core role, Mrunal has contributed to impactful projects like an RF ablation system for cancer treatment and driver health monitoring systems. Committed to real-world solutions, he values teamwork and continuous learning.
