The NISummit was staged on October 4 for the first time globally. The new event format as an evolvement of the NIDays is aimed at providing a more focused approach to local needs.
190 engineers and scientists met with 12 exhibitors and NI experts to network, learn about the newest applications on the market and discuss current challenges.
In the Academic Research and Teaching track, we have learned how students and researchers save lives through training technology, how they save energy through new innovative energy flows, and what the future of transportation holds for us.
The software development track focused on skill enhancement through best practice sharing about systematic source code generation, software testing as part of the development process, and utilizing communication protocols to streamline test capabilities across distributed stakeholders.
The automated test and data logging track firstly discussed the alignment of test strategy from development to production to end with data logging topics related to as well as new technical capabilities and considerations for harsh environments.
It was a great atmosphere for networking and learning – supported by a spring-like-autumn – that was only made possible by the lively discussions of all attendees, speakers, and exhibitors.
We look forward to welcoming you again in 2019!
